Hey, Internet!
So, yeah, this new site is being built and transformed as I type! There’s Facebook, MySpace, DC Comics, IGN, Newsarama, Comic Book Resources, Comics Reporter, io9, Aint It Cool, a million message boards…damn, a lot. All those are great, but I thought a central hub would be good. For all of you who don’t know ComicBloc, it’s my website which was created by webmaster geniuses Josh Hamman and Dustin Davis several years back. It started out as a small site and has since become one of the most visited comic book forums on the net thanks to them.
I’ll be posting updates, images, announcements and general talk on just about everything.
Tomorrow, as you might have seen, I’ll be at Jim Hanley’s in New York to mark the release of THE FLASH: REBIRTH #1 by myself and Ethan Van Sciver, who rocked it. Barry Allen, the hero who launched the Silver Age, is back, but it’s not going to be exactly what everyone expects. It’s a controversial return, especially to Barry himself. I spoke to Dan Phillips at IGN (a link will pop up soon to that interview) and he absolutely found the core of the first issue…
Barry Allen is back and it’s the worst thing that could ever happen to him.
