So when the weather gets really nice in New York City and Los Angeles where do you go to celebrate Free Comic Book Day? Somewhere way way too hot — Phoenix! With the warm weather already out West, with the Hollywood engine trying to turn over and churn out weekend grabbing films, and with Free Comic Book Day it’s starting to feel like summer vacation. So I’ll be happy to leave behind writing for a few days as I head to Atomic Comics.
Joining me will be artist and conspiracy theorist Ethan Van Sciver and my pal Sterling Gates of Supergirl fame.
I’ll be signing Blackest Night #0, which is free, and whatever anyone else brings. (My record so far is all 52 issues of 52 and every issue of JSA all at once, which totaled about 150 comics. I did it on breaks and it took about half an hour. My signature also turned into a scribble.)
