So coming close to coinciding with Blackest Night #0 is Green Lantern #40, shipping this Wednesday.
GL#40 is part two of a storyline entitled AGENT ORANGE that introduces the alien criminal Larfleeze, last survivor of the Guild of Orange Light. There’s a preview of the issue over at IGN. Philip Tan is doing the work of his career so far, especially on the intricate designs of the Orange Lanterns. There is also a short back-up story – a tale of the Orange Lantern starring a cleaner slug named Glomulus! He’s one of my favorite Orange Lanterns and you’ll be seeing a lot more of him outside of the comics soon.
