So last week, I sat down with Josh Flanagan and Conor Kilpatrick at Jim Hanley’s Universe in New York.
We had a small Q&A in the basement — which looked like it was filled with every comic from the last twenty years! (They could make a great library down there.) We talked about the writing process, plotting, character, the Flash, Green Lantern and where Star and S.T.R.I.P.E. came from.
It was pouring rain, I got off at the wrong subway stop, I ran four blocks to make it on time (really close to on time!), but it was worth it. One of the best times I’ve had discussing comic books in awhile.
Josh and Conor were fantastic, as was everyone at Jim Hanley’s, and it was a really refreshing one-on-one interview. They also weaved in some terrific art. One of the best signing experiences I’ve had at a store.
