So FCBD was yesterday and I was at Atomic Comics with Sterling Gates (writer of Supergirl – read it!). It was fantastic, but that’s to be expected with Malve and the crew at Atomic. I was at their Mesa Store signing as many Blackest Night #0′s as I could. Hope everyone who went out for FCBD picked one up! Saturday was a lot of fun…then came Sunday…
…the Phoenix airport was hot and Southwest’s organization to get on their planes is about as user friendly as DOS. So Sterling and I hung out at the airport. Waiting.
Then someone coughed!
I am envisioning a day soon where not only is taking your shoes off and running through the x-ray machine common place, so is wearing a face mask. Perhaps they’ll come in a variety of colors, or with pictures of smiles or growling sharp teeth on them. If that happens I’m buying an old-fashioned Wesley Dodds gasmask. The hat too.
But at least we’ll still have Free Comic Book Day!
