Geoff Johns was born in January 1973 in Detroit, Michigan. It was damn cold.
He attended Michigan State University and studied media arts, screenwriting, film production and theory. After graduating, Geoff moved to Los Angeles where he made a lucky phone call and got a job as an intern for Richard Donner.
He then went on to become Donners assistant for almost for years on Conspiracy Theory and Lethal Weapon 4. During that time he began writing comics, beginning with his favorite title, Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E which he created for DC. Eventually writing turned into a full time career.
Geoff has written almost all of DCs iconic characters including a long acclaimed run on the Flash, his award winning work on Green Lantern, Hawkman, JSA, Teen Titans, Superman, Inifinte Crisis and more.
